Do You Believe?

Lately there has been alot of talk about the Law of Attraction! I am personally a firm believer of the effects LOA can have on your life.

What is the Law of Attraction? The basis of LOA begins with your thoughts. There are concious and subconcious thoughts that occur to you all the time. These thoughts may not always co-exists however they are the beginning point of your actions. As we all know our actions lead to results or consequences!

So how does the Law of Attraction fit into this equation? Everywhere!!!

There are many interepetations available on how the Law of Attraction works but if you were to read between the lines they will all point back to thoughts and beliefs that lead to actions which lead to your end results (positive or negative). This is a concept that has always existed. Many people have accredited their successes and even failures to the Law of Attraction over the decades.

How can you get the Law of Attraction to work for you? You will first have to evaluate your thoughts and beliefs. Are your thoughts typically positive or negative? If you were told to make a million dollars in 24 hours what would your thoughts be? Think this through for just a minute!

Were you thinking of creative ways to complete the task or thinking of the reasons you couldn’t? This would be how the Law of Attraction would be set in motion! The thoughts that occured to you would have been your motivation for your actions! If you were creating ways to make it happen in your thoughts you would have put them into action. If you were thinking of the reasons you wouldn’t be able to make a million dollars in twenty four hours then your actions or inactions would have reflected them. In the end, your thoughts motivate your actions, which created your results!

I wouldn’t claim that you are going to accomplish everything you have thoughts about. However you will be driven in your actions to make your thoughts a reality. Your thoughts and beliefs alone are not what produces the results, it is the action or in some cases the inaction that brings about your results. The most popular example used when describing the Law of Attraction is bills. Everyone recieves bills (electricity, cell phones, mortgage, etc…) what is your thought process behind your bills? If you are dreading going to the mail box because the bills are piling up and you don’t know how to pull yourself out of debt then you will not take the proper actions to improve the situation. By changing your thoughts on the bills that come in you will automatically change your actions that can bring about different results. When you no longer fear the bills you can free your thoughts and create a path that will enable you to cover your payments.

The Law of Attraction isn’t positive thinking! It is a mixture of your views (of a situation), the thoughts you have, and your belief in the outcome. When these are mixed together an action or inaction is formed. Learning how you think you can actually change your life! When you realize what your true thoughts are and how you form them you will be able to direct them towards the outcome you desire. From there you will begin to form your actions (which is mostly instinctive) and will in turn produce results.

Think back in your life about things you have experienced. Try to remember the thoughts and emotions surrounding it. How did that turn out in the end? Although you are not able to change the past you may be able to learn from it! If you would have seen it in another way, thought about it differently, or believed in a different outcome would it have worked out the same? Have you experienced a time where you knew a particular event in your life would have a great ending? There may not have been any evidence to back your thoughts but you just felt that it would, pushed through, and in the end it turned out great? This is the Law of Attraction at work in a positive direction!

The Law of Attraction does not discriminate! It is a process that begins with thought, turns to action, and end with a result. The LOA can work in a positive direction or a negative one!

I would like to ask: Do You Believe? Please leave me a comment and let me know what your view is on the Law of Attraction.

I’ve been busted! I haven’t written a new post in a while. Time has been blowing by so fast that I have been bent over backwards. I am here now and I want to share something that I have been working through.

I have been doing alot of thinking lately about my next move as an internet entrepenuer wondering how I could go about racking up a huge pile of accomplishments. While talking to several of our friends that smacked me repeatedly with a cosmic 2×4 I snapped back to reality. Even though I am fully aware that I am learning a whole new world and way of working I was still beating myself up about the inches I was gaining wondering why I haven’t reached the mile mark.

So are you ready to hear the sound of the 2×4? When you are working to achieve your goals it is vital to have the end results in sight. However if you focus on them more than you should you can easily become discouraged and invite Mr. Doubtful to join you in your ventures. While this isn’t the exact route I had taken I was getting very close to stumbling on that path.

Why would I tell you about what would appear as such a negative process? There are several reason I felt that I should share this with you. As negative as my statements may seem they are actually a positive step in the right direction. I am not drowning myself in them, I am reconizing them, so that I can avoid making a similar mistake in the future. I also know there are many others out there who have either been there or could be there now without realizing it.

There is a big difference between knowing the end result of a goal and how far you have to travel to reach it from focusing on the end result. It sounds the same but the difference is that when you know the end result of your goal you will tend to follow logical steps to reach it. If you are only focusing on the end result the steps can become blurry causing delays or even make you want to abandon the goal all together out of frustration. Take it from me that this is a fine line to walk.

So I have spent some time adjusting my focus to keep the end in sight and encourage myself to take the steps to reach the mile mark. Instead of working towards the “big picture” that I had developed of my goal that causes me to miss a step or two along the way.

Now it’s up to you! Will you work towards the “big picture” or follow the paint by number method to create your masterpiece?
